WANT TO RECEIVE JESUS?

Are you at the point in your life where you are ready to make a personal commitment to follow Jesus?  Then, look no further because you’ve come to the right place!   I’m just going to share 5 quick points with you about salvation then we’ll say a short prayer accepting Jesus into your heart.

First, simply acknowledge that you are a sinner. It’s not anything you did. The bible says in the book of Psalms that you were born in sin; because of Adam’s sin, we all entered the world with a fallen or a sin nature.  So without Jesus in your life, you are a sinner.

Second, the good news is, all you have to do is repent of these sins and change our heart, mind and direction.  Just make a 180 degree turn from the things of the world, to the things of God.

Third, just believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is the son of God,  that He died for your sins, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord of your life and you’ll be saved.   ROMANS 10:9-10 says: That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

 

IF YOU’D LIKE TO PRAY & RECEIVE CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR, JUST USE THIS SIMPLE PRAYER OF SALVATION AS A GUIDE:

“Lord Jesus, I ask You to come into my life and forgive me of all my sins. I confess my sins before You this day. I denounce Satan and all his works. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. Thank You for saving me. I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that You rose from the dead. I am saved. Write my name in the Lamb’s book of life. Today is my God-day with the Lord Jesus! I pray this prayer to the Father in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

 

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE SAVED!  Now you can begin to live a life of obedience to God by developing a relationship with him through his Word.  In the book of John, Jesus said if you continue in my Word, then you are my disciple.

Also, develop a relationship with God through prayer. The bible says, we ought to always pray and praying is just talking to God like we are talking right now.

It’s also going to be very important for you to find a bible believing church with pastors who will teach you the Word of God with understanding. Then begin fellowshipping with other believers–people like you who love God and are living for Him.  Then you can encourage each other and grow together in the things of God.

Finally, begin to touch the lives of others through ministry. God wants to work through you.   Just begin by sharing what God has done in your life. As you begin to grow in God, ask him what it is He will have you to do, and He will show you.
